There is an excellent video available at Rockets.com, the official NBA site for the Rockets, that shows exclusive footage from inside the Rockets war room on draft night. It takes you through parts of the draft from the 5th to the 11th pick, ending when Les Alexander comes in to the room and high-fives Rudy for making the Griffin trade. At one point Rudy comes in to the room and says Les is talking with Seattle about sending the Sonics the #18 or #23 to flip-flop the 12 and 13. Larry Smith says that's too rich. At another point Arn Tellem, Griffin's agent, calls. All the coaches cheer when Cleveland selects Sagana Diop at #8, but Rudy looks confused -- "Is that good?" Very cool stuff -- check it out.
