As expected, the Rockets declined the team option on Carlos Rogers' contract Monday, making him officially a free agent. After drafting Eddie Griffin and Terence Morris, it's a given that 'Los won't be back. We wish him well -- he played hard while he was here and will make a good reserve for some team (The Pistons, perhaps?) Also, Maurice Taylor and Shandon Anderson each officially opted not to for next season. Both are now officially free agents. An expected move since the Rockets were going to have to sign both players with cap room.!!
