Numerous fans on the ClutchFans forums mentioned Saturday night that Rockets broadcaster Matt Bullard, not realizing that he was on air, had dropped in a criticism of recently-traded Tracy McGrady during coverage of the Rockets-Pacers game.
I checked the local broadcast and it wasn't anywhere to be heard. After some investigation, the fans determined that it was only run in the online feed and League Pass broadcast, which came back early from commercials, so as a result I wasn't able to find it.
Props to BBS user "RAID", however -- he found the footage online and, sure enough, Bull did let one slip.
It appears that Bullard and fellow broadcasters Bill Worrell and Clyde Drexler were checking in on the final action of the Knicks-Thunder game. McGrady was hot in his debut, scoring 26 points. Drexler said "Gallinari", apparently in reference to Danilo Gallinari, who got the final shot of regulation.
"So T-Mac's gonna rip Gallinari in the paper saying he should have got the shot?" quipped Bullard.
