Benetton Treviso forward Bostjan Nachbar worked out for the Rockets today, and it was said to be a very good workout. The kid showed solid offensive skills, though his defense does need some work.

Nachbar is a strong candidate for the Rockets at #15, though the Washington Wizards are having him for a second workout this week and could take him at #11.

Other tidbits -- Mitch Lawrence, in a New York Daily News article, wrote:

Dan Dickau pulled out of a workout yesterday for the Magic, the latest indication that the Rockets and Warriors have deal involving Houston's No. 15 pick, which would net Golden State the Gonzaga playmaker. The Magic was looking to take Dickau at 18.
This is a new one, so not sure what other indications Lawrence may be thinking of that lead us to think this deal is in place. The San Francisco Chronicle does report the Warriors are trying to acquire a mid-first round pick for Dickau, but identify Philadelphia at #16 as a likely location. Lawrence could be confusing his stories. He also mentions in the same article that Qyntel Woods could drop to Houston at #15.

I had reported last Friday that Maybyner Hilario was scheduled to work out for the Rockets Sunday, along with Nachbar. Hilario did not work out today. The Rockets tell me he had a conflict in his schedule and it is uncertain right now whether they will have him in before the draft or not.
